Carla Denise Ward

Carla Denise Ward, age 54, of Middlesboro, KY passed away February 23, 2015 at the Middlesboro ARH following a long illness. She was born July 20, 1960 in Gary, IN to the late Thomas Howard and Arnette Howard Crider. She was Registered Nurse at the Middesboro ARH for 15 years.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Denise Ward.

She is survived by grandson, Kristopher Cornett of Cumberland, KY, special niece, Candis Gilliam and husband, Tony, of Gordon, KY and their son, Tyler Gilliam, of Gordon, KY; brothers and sisters: Charlsie Day and husband, Fred, of Dalton, GA, Tony Howard and wife, Norma of Watts Creek, KY, Starr Blair and husband, Frank, of Lexington, KY, Robert Howard and fiancé, Sylvia Mason, of Corbin, KY, and Donna Maggard and husband, Joe, of Eolia, KY. Also surviving are Carla’s special friends and work family at the Middlesboro ARH.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 26 from 5 to 8PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Friday, February 27 at 11AM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Murry McGlone officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
