Andy Saylor, 71 passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Harlan ARH hospital.
He was born in Bell County, KY on May 3, 1949, the son of the late George and Laura North Saylor and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Andy loved watching his Western Movies, always keeping a dialog with actors in the movies. He loved to read Western Books. Andy and his wife Viredia loved to drive back into the mountains, taking a chair and a picnic lunch just sitting there enjoying nature and a thermos of coffee always traveled with them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Viredia Russell Saylor, sisters, Martha Helton, Mary Saylor, Ethel Saylor and Mossie Adams and a brother Hobert Saylor.
Andy leaves to cherish his memory his sisters and brothers, Daniel Saylor of Chicago, IL, Bessie Madewell of Harlan, KY, Don Saylor of Harold KY, Evelon (Charles) Rogers of Chicago, IL, Wilma Bulka of Indianapolis, IN, and Mrs. Dallas Smith of Bledsoe, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
All Services will be Private with Preacher Mike Kelly presiding. Interment will be in Bens Branch Cemetery at Stoney Fork, KY .
Per Governor Andy Beshear’s Executive Order; All Visitations, Funeral/Memorial Services and Graveside/Committal Services are limited to 25 individuals total, regardless of where the services are held. No rotation of individuals in and out of the funeral home for visitations will be allowed. Masks are required for entry into the Funeral Home. All Services are required to be private.
