Arnold Whitehead Jr., 75, of Loyall, went to his heavenly home on June 12, 2018 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born to the late Arnold Whitehead Sr. and Dallie Fields Whitehead on December 6, 1942. He was a licensed Plumber and also worked for LP Gas for many years.
Mr. Whitehead is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife of 53 Years, Lucille Whitehead; Brothers, Baslil Whitehead, Tinsley Whitehead and Keith Whitehead; Sisters, Evelyn Freeman and Yvonne Wells.
Arnold is survived by his loving Children, Arnold Whitehead III and Wife Mary, Johanna Lewis and Husband Harold and Malinda Douglas and Husband Freddie; Grandchildren, Joseph Smith and Kaylee Roark; Brothers, Alonzo Whitehead and Wife Shirley, Hollis Whitehead and Wife Betty and Dillis Whitehead; Sister, Patricia Napier; Sister in Laws, Maxine Cobb and Sally Weaver; Brother In Law, Lloyd Muncy; Special Great Niece, Tonya Farley; Special Nieces, Susie Frost and Tabitha Gregory; Special Friends, Lisa and Ben Turner and Bill Noe. A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends also mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 5PM to 7PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7PM also in the Chapel with Jerry Collins and Doug Daniels Officiating. Burial will be Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 1PM at the Muncy Family Cemetery. If you would like to join the family in procession, they will meet at 12:15PM at the Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers are Tom Asher, Dusty Asher, Derrick Asher, Dylan Asher and Dalton Asher.
