Mr. Billy Robinson, age 61, of Harlan, KY, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Mr. Robinson was a retired coal miner, having worked over 30 years in the mines. He was a fisherman who loved playing the lottery, loved his grandchildren and his mama, and enjoyed watching basketball games with her, where he was always rooting for whatever team was playing against the University of Kentucky.
Born on November 06, 1960, Billy was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Robinson, and brother, James Robinson.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Betty Robinson; mother, Betty Gayles; children, Billy Ray Brock, Travis Napier, Brittany Johnson, Larissa Harris, Tasha Fields; brothers, Rodrick Robinson, Jackie Robinson, Marvin Robinson; sisters, Jacqueline Robinson, Gwen Robinson and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loving family also survive.
Family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 PM on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Harlan, KY with the funeral following at 12 PM Pastor Walter M. Garlington officiating.
