Bruce Douglas Hensley

Bruce Douglas Hensley, age 77, of Totz, KY passed away January 3, 2014 at the Harlan ARH. He was born February 26, 1936 in Harlan, KY to the late Kermit Hensley and Stella Wilford Hensley of Totz, KY. He was a retired produce manager for A&P. He believed in the Church of God faith.

Besides his father, Kermit Hensley, he is preceded in death by his baby sister, Betty Hensley.

Besides his mother, Stella Hensley, he is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary E. Hensley of Totz, KY; children: Sharon “Susie” (Denny) Mullins of Nolansburg, KY, James “Jimmy” (Lisa) Hensley of Cumberland, KY, and Donna (Nick) Noe of Harlan, KY; grandchildren: Matthew and Ashley Mullins, Lyndsey Noe (David) Carmichal, Seth and Zachary Noe, Tyler and Brittany Hensley and Brandon Watts; great-grandchildren: Hunter, Sam, Kylie, and Colby; brother, Roy (Glenda) Hensley of Totz, KY and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 12 to 2PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 2PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Rev. Nick Noe officiating. Burial will be at the Green Hills Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
