Christine Roark Hensley

Christine Roark Hensley, age 91 passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021 at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born May 19, 1929 to the late Hiskel and Florence Slusher Roark. She was a member of the Blackstar Pentecostal Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence Hensley, siblings Gusie Roark, Mae Martin, Nancy Roark, Modie Roark, Ollie Moore, Herman Roark, Lester Roark, Noah Roark, Homer Roark, Manford Roark.
Christine leaves to cherish her memory her Sons Michael Hensley and wife Susan of Winchester, Ohio, Curtis Hensley of Sneedville, TN, Daughters Rhonda Collett and husband James of Coldiron, KY, Nancy Hobbs and husband Johnny of Middlesboro, KY, sister Hazel Humfleet of Pathfork, eleven grandchildren, twenty three Great grandchildren, five Great great grandchildren with 3 on the way.
Visitation will be Thursday April 1, 2021 from 6 to 9 pm in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Friday April 2, 2021 at 2 PM at Blackstar Pentecostal Church with Reverends Ray Stepp and JC Craig officiating. Interment will follow in Hensley Cemetery in Smith with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Due to the mandate set forth by the governor of Kentucky, attendees must wear a mask at all times, practice social distancing and only 60% of our capacity is allowed.
