Christine Johnson, age 71 of Cawood, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019. She was born April 6, 1947 to the late Victor and Ruby Howard. Christine believed in the Pentecostal Faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Victor and Ruby Boles Howard. She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Hubert Johnson, Children: Jordan Howard of Cawood and Melissa Rickett and husband Jamie of Cawood, a granddaughter and the love of her life Katelynn Rickett, special grandchildren Maylea Lambert, Aiden McCreary, Chase McCreary, Keaton Brock, Siblings: Shirley McKeehan, Joanna Patterson, Jean Melanson and husband Mike, Victor Howard and wife Rachel, Elizabeth Howard, Helen Bennett and husband Al, a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday March 23, 2019 from 11-1 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 1 PM with the Reverend Franklin Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Howard Cemetery in Cranks, KY with Hubert Johnson, Jordan Howard, David Howard, Jason Howard, Steven Lewis, Keaton Brock, and Ryan Patterson serving as pallbearers.
