Dana Renee Douglas, age 45 of Smith, passed away peacefully on Monday February 17, 2020 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born to Royce and Hazel Smith Rapier on June 2, 1974.
Ms. Douglas is preceded in death by her brother, Danny Rapier.
Dana is survived by her Parents, Royce and Hazel Rapier; Loving Children, Daulton Engle and Wife Kari of Maynardville ,TN, Dillon Engle of Smith and Devin Douglas of Smith; Brother, Ronnie Rapier and Wife Jeannie of Maynardville, TN; Sister, Sherry Green and Husband Jerry of Sharps Chapel, TN; a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 5PM till 7PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 7PM with Spencer Burkhart officiating also in the Chapel. Burial will be Friday, February 21, 2020 at 12PM at the Britton Cemetery in Smith. The family has requested to meet at the cemetery.
