Darlene Hamlin Stewart, age 70 of Smith, KY, departed this life to be in her heavenly home on January 23, 2021 after battling a long illness with cancer. She was known for her kind, loving and nurturing personality serving as a caregiver for many and believed in the holiness faith.
She is preceded in death by her loving son William Stewart, her mother and father Lucy and Earl Hamlin, and one brother Bill Hamlin.
She leaves behind her other son Doug Stewart of Smith ky, her sisters Carolyn Daniel of Smith ky, Janice Snuggs (husband) Ron of Idaho, her brother Charles Hamlin (fiancé) Helen Hensley of Smith ky.
Her grandchildren Jana Stanifer (husband) Chris of Loyall, KY and Kayla Stewart (fiancé) Derrick Miller of Ages, KY.
Great Grand Children, Erica and Kaylob Stevens and Chloe Stanifer.
A special nephew Charlie Hamlin of Smith, KY. A host of other nieces and nephews who she cared for and loved deeply.
Grave side services will be conducted by Rev. Doug Daniels at Charlie Hensley Cemetery in Smith, KY on Sunday, January 24,2021 at 2PM with the burial following. Music will be provided by Bonnie Fultz, Joseph Fultz and Jamie Daniels. Family and Friends are welcome to attend, but due to Covid restrictions we ask everyone to please wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
