Delbert Jonah DJ Boggs

Delbert Jonah “DJ” Boggs, age 38, of Catrons Creek, KY entered the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Harlan ARH. He was born on December 17, 1975 to Delbert Boggs and Geraldine Combs. He was a cherished and devoted Christian, husband, dad, and son who loved his family dearly. He was a member of Harvest Worship Center and was a coal miner with Dixie Fuel Company. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, 4-wheeling, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barney and Lillie Clay and Laura and Edward Boggs.

Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Tammy Boggs and children, Baili Boggs, Laila Boggs, Gage Boggs, and Paisli Boggs all of Catrons Creek; parents Delbert Boggs of Baxter and Geraldine (Carlos) Combs of Cumberland; brother, Barney Boggs of Baxter.

Visitation will be Friday Nov. 7, 2014 from 6 to 9PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant with Rev. Roland Bo Lee officiating. Burial will be at the Madon Family Cemetery, Catrons Creek with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
