Della Mae Southerland, age 78, of Keith, KY entered her Heavenly Home on Wednesday November 2, 2016.
Born February 10, 1938 to Clarence and Rosie Watkins. Della was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Luther I Southerland, her parents Clarence and Rosie Watkins, a son Lloyd Luther (Pug) Southerland, and brothers Glen Watkins, Alvin Watkins, Jessie Watkins, Roy and wife Opal Watkins.
Left to mourn her passing she leaves her children Mandy and Husband Clarence Longworth of Loyall, Tim and Wife Karen Southerland of Keith, Della and Husband Gary Fuson of Keith, and Glenda and Husband Charlie Garrett of Cranks, a brother Kenneth John Watkins of Ft. Wayne, IN a sister Joyce Hansel of Wallins, Rose Watkins, Shirley and My Southerland she considered them to be her sisters and brother, seventeen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday November 4, 2016 from 6 to 9 PM at Four Mile Missionary Baptist Church at Keith, KY. The Funeral will be Saturday November 5, 2016 at Four Mile Missionary Baptist Church at 11 AM with Reverend Edmond Gross officiating. Interment will follow at Shoemaker Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
