Della Mae Stewart, 74 of Cawood, passed away on July 20, 2021 at UK Hospital in Lexington. She was born to the late Harmon and Virginia Jones Grubbs on October 1, 1946.
Ms. Stewart is preceded in death by her Husband, John R. Stewart; Sisters, Eula Bray and Wanda Noe; Brothers, Denver Grubbs and Don Grubbs.
Della Mae is survived by her loving Sons, Robbie Stewart and Wife Sharon, Doug Stewart and Wife Ruby and Mike Stewart and Wife Susan; Brothers, Hubert Grubbs and Harmon Grubbs Jr.; Sisters, Judy Langford and Joyce Johnson; 16 Grandchildren and 38 Great Grandchildren; Special Friend, Christine Hensley; A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 from 6PM to 9PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday July 24, 2021 at 1PM at Cawood Church of God Mountain Assembly. Reverend Franklin Stewart, Reverend Gary Ferguson, Pastor Sharon Stewart and John Stewart will be officiating. Burial will follow at Stewart Cemetery with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers.
