Denver Cooper

Denver Cooper, 97, of Straight Creek, passed away February 9, 2018 at his home. He was born to the late Eli and Sintha Belcher Cooper in the year of 1920.
Denver is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, Edna Cooper; Children, Franklin D. Cooper, Henry W. Cooper, Ray C. Cooper, Lonnie Cooper, SR., Bob Cooper and Sudie Cooper Cole; 6 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his Children, Glen Cooper and Wife Anna of Bledsoe, Donald Cooper and Wife Ronda of Bledsoe, Michael Cooper of Bledsoe, Wanda Slaughter of Springville, TN, Margie Sands and Husband Bob of Springville, TN and Viola Cottrell of Harlan; 24 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 6PM to 9PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 12 at 11AM also in the chapel with Reverend Keith Coldiron officiating. Burial will follow at Cooper Family Cemetery with Grandsons serving as Pallbearers.
