Dillard Rigney, Sr.
December 18, 1932 — June 30, 2016
Dillard Rigney, Sr., age 83, of Ages, KY went home to be with the Lord June 30, 2016 at the Harlan ARH. He was born December 18, 1932 in Gatliff, KY to the late Harris “Jack” and Ethel Brooks Rigney. He was a retired machine shop repairman and was a member of the Ages Mountain Assembly Church of God.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by sons, Dillard Rigney, Jr. and Paul Rigney, great grandson, Brandon Rigney, brother, Willard Rigney, sisters, Jackie Shell Wilson and Dean Wilson.
Survivors include, wife, Anna Mae Rigney, Ages, KY, children, Larry (Mary) Rigney, Phyllis (Monk) Curtis, George Rigney, and Deanie Rigney all of Ages, KY and Janie (Danny) Luttrell of Middlesboro, KY, brothers, Lonnie and Don Rigney of Ages, sisters, Wilma Huff of Olive Hill, KY and Rosemary Couch of Ages, 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and family.
Visitation will be Friday, July 1 from 6 to 9 at the Ages Mountain Assembly Church of God. Funeral will be Saturday, July 2 at 11AM also at the Ages Mountain Assembly Church of God with Donnie Harrison officiating. Burial will be at Evarts Memorial Gardens with grandsons and great grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
