Eddie Gene Johnson

Eddie Gene Johnson, age 64 of Dayhoit, passed away May 5, 2016 at his residence. He was a retired Coal Miner and Construction worker.
Eddie is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Stella Gambrel who raised him, parents, Eugene and Imogene Johnson; Grandchild, Baby Johnson and Haley Johnson; Brothers; Hobert Greene and Mike Greene Sisters, Linda Waddell and Jenny Birch; Nephew, Ralph Waddell; Nieces, Michelle Waddell and Sarah Hitt.
He is survived by the love of his life, Mary Johnson; Children, Pamela Johnson, James Johnson, Paige Johnson; Special Sister, Juanita Johnson, Great Aunt Donna Gambrel; Nieces and Nephews, A very special Nephew Jason Williams and wife Melissa, Donnie Williams, Josh Birch, Vincent Birch, Betty Birch, Laura Waddell, Donna Hitt, Tammy Waddell, Toni (Jason) Hoss, Nancy Cox and Lynn Greene; Very Special Great Niece, Jordan Hignite. A host of great Nieces, Nephews and Friends also survive.
Visitation will be 5PM- 7PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, Sunday May 8, 2016. Funeral will be Monday May 9, 2016 at 12PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant. Burial will follow at Lewis Cemetery.
