Eldred “Buddy” Dabney Jr., 82, of Harlan, KY, passed away December 3, 2015 at the Harlan Nursing Home.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Eldred T. Dabney and Leatha Isaacs Dabney. Wife, Doris Ann Dabney. Sons, Thearn Alan Dabney and Travis Lee Dabney and Sister Elizabeth McKnight and grandson Luke Allen Stallard
He is survived by his Wife, Mable Dabney of Evarts. Daughters, Debbie (David) Amburgey of Coxton, and Shannon (Lee) Stallard of Evarts. Son, Mike (Marie) Dabney of Coxton. Step Children, Dennis(Verona) Coker of Elkton, KY, Douglas Coker of Rosspoint, and Vicki (Patrick) Brown of Lakewood, CA. Grandchildren, Beth (Jerry) Vaughn of Harlan, Gabe Stallard, Bridgette (Jason) Stallard of Evarts, and David Michael (Michelle) Amburgey of Harlan. Step Grand Daughter, Gena (Victor) Anglain. Great Grandchildren, Hannah Vaughn, Sarah Vaughn, and Madison Stewart. Also a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, December 7, 2015 from 11AM to 2PM, with the funeral following at 2PM with Pete Rowe, Bruce Helton and Stan Nicely.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
