Ellen Wilson, age 86, of Bledsoe passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday March 9, 2019. She was born September 7, 1932 to the late Curtis and Matilda Collins.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Curtis Collins and Matilda Cooper Collins Nix, her husband Elza Wilson, children: Coy Dean Wilson, Charles Edward Wilson, a brother Elvin Collins and a sister Lucy Hardy.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Morris Wilson and wife Irma of Lumber Bridge, NC, Elvin Wilson of Bledsoe, Charlene Slone and husband Fred of Bledsoe, Geraldine Asher of Bledsoe, Frances Marlene Harris and husband Jerry of London, KY, brother James Collins of Bledsoe, Sudie Simpson of Rosspoint, Nine grandchildren and Eight Great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday March 12, 2019 from 5:30 to 7 PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 7 PM with the Reverends Don Messer and David Spencer officiating. Graveside service will be 11 AM on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at the Robert Wilson Cemetery on Straight Creek, family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
