Florence Callahan, age 80, passed away March 2, 2017 at Park West in Knox, TN. She was born March 2, 1937 to the late Redmon and Nancy Ann Couch Day.
Mrs. Callahan is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Corrum Callahan, brothers: Elhannon Day, Alex Day, Lee John Day, Henry Day and Oscar Day.
Florence leaves to mourn her passing her children Peggy Day and Keith Callahan, Brothers Rex Allan Day and Wayne Day, Sisters Grace Woodard, Betty Sue Napier, Edna Mullins and Katherine Creech, Grandchildren Katelyn Nicole Randall (Kyle) and Megan Makenzie Callahan and a Great Grandchild Charlie Randall, and a Daughter-in-law Beth Callahan whom she loves like a daughter.
Visitation will be Sunday March 5, 2017 at the Pine Mountain Church of God from 9 am-12pm, Funeral will follow at 12 pm with the Reverend Kermit Creech officiating, Interment will be at the Couch Cemetery in Bledsoe, KY. Pallbearers are Austin Wolfe, Quenton Wolfe, Richard Call, Terry Woodard, Mason Woodard and Matthew Woodard.
