Gladys Ruth Blair

Gladys Ruth Blair, age 86 of Harlan passed away peacefully on Thursday December 17, 2020 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mount Vernon, KY. She was born in Calvin, VA on July 29, 1934 to William M and Rosie Oliver. She was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist Faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents; William M and Rosie Oliver, her loving husband Walter Carl Blair, Sisters: Thelma Seward, Norma Harget, and Margaret Costello.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son Walter Scott Blair and wife Debra of Mt. Vernon, Sister Beulah Gardner of Indiana, Granddaughter Brooke Nipper and husband Daniel of Corbin, great grandchildren Caden Hatcher, Aden Nipper, a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday December 22, 2020 from 11-1 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, Funeral service at 1 pm with the Reverend Johnny Strange officiating. Interment will follow in the Short Cemetery in Holmes Mill.
