Harold Nantz, age 84 of Baxter, passed away Sunday April 7, 2019 at Cambridge Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lexington, KY. Harold was born January 15, 1935 to Pearl and Lula Nantz. He was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents Pearl and Lula North Nantz, his wife Anna Lee, and a brother Roger Nantz.
He leaves to mourn his passing his son James Nantz and wife Janet, daughter Betsy Rutherford, sister in law Margaret Yost (Robert), brother Paul Nantz, sisters: Carol Wilson, Leta Donnelly, Berneta Joseph, Minnie Fay Bedwell, grandchildren: Logan and Emily Nantz, Meganne, Aubriella and Jayden Thomas, Katelynn, Timothy, Alleyson, Kyren, Rebecca Slone and a special friend Rocky Rutherford.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 10, 2019, from 12-2 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 PM with the Reverend Bryant Kibler officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery with Chris Bundy, Timothy Slone, Coy Thomas, Tim Yost, Logan Nantz and Scott Hodges will serve as pallbearers. Harlan Honor Guard will provide Military Honors.
