Henry Wayne Greene

Henry Wayne Greene, age 61, of Cawood, KY passed away February 9, 2015 at Holston Wellmont Medical Center, Kingsport, TN following a long illness. He was born May 31, 1953 in Harlan, KY to the late Tilman and Mary June King Greene. He worked at Harlan Country Club and was a welder at Jeff Boat. He believed in the Holiness faith.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Trey Bray and brothers, Tilman and George Greene, and sisters, Francis Carter and Kathy Noe.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Eula Bray, of Cawood, KY, children: Johnny Greene of Hiram, GA, Alicia (Danny) Greene of Cawood, KY, Jennie (Ronnie) Whitehead of Evarts, KY, and Marie (Rick) Burkhart of Smith, KY, grandchildren: Tiffany Bowling, Shane Bowling, Katelyn Whitehead, Hunter Burkhart, Dustin Bray, Tyler Smith, Hannah Greene, and Hailee Greene, great grandchildren, Alexis and Alyssa Kelly; brothers: James Greene, Michael Greene, David, and Scotty (Jeannie) Greene all of Catrons Creek, KY and Bobby (Sharon) Greene of Harlan, sister, Doris Cogburn of AK.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11 from 5 to 8PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Friday, February 13 at 1PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Spencer Burkhart officiating. Burial will be at the Greene Family Cemetery, Stanfill, KY with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
