Irene Burkhart, age 71, of Coldiron, KY passed away June 19, 2015. She was born February 5, 1944 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Max and Eleanor Bruning.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Max and Bernard.
Survivors include husband, Harmon Burkhart, of Coldiron, KY, Ronald Burkhart, Katrina Dobrovolny and Sandra Burkhart all of Chicago, IL, Harmon Burkhart of Berea, KY and Tabitha Burkhart-Wilson of Lexington, KY, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be Monday, June 22 from 5 to 8pm at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, June 23 at 11AM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant. Burial will follow at the Laymon Cemetery, Forresters Creek, Coldiron, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
