James “J.B.” Beckham Engle age 70 of Grays Knob was born November 21, 1949 at home Woodbine, Ky and passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Harlan ARH. He was a retired coal miner. He had an infectious laugh and the biggest smile. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Chester Engle; Mother, Edith Engle; Brothers, Ott Engle and Bill Engle; Infant Sister, Joyce Ann Engle; Wife, Mabel Engle; Great Grandson, Gavin Catron.
J.B. is survived by his Children and Step Children, Chrystle Engle Bolden and Fiancé Travis Carroll of Rose Hill, VA, Jamie Engle of Grays Knob, Latosha Lloyd and Husband Steve of Corydon, IN, Jeff Fouts of Corydon, IN; Sister, Sharon Smith and Husband Ronald of Bobs Creek; Grandchildren, J.T., Justin, Noah, Lenora and Rachel. Several Nieces and Nephews and Many more Friends and Family that loved him.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 5-6 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 6 PM with Nick Noe officiating.
