Jerrie Ann Helton

Jerrie Ann Helton, age 77, of Evarts, KY passed away August 7, 2014 at the Harlan ARH following a short illness. She was born June 3, 1937 in Harlan to the late Taylor and Fannie Roark. She was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness faith.

She is preceded in death by sisters, Martha May Fultz, Jewell Ellis, and daughter, Jackie Lee Tolliver; son-in-law, John Wynn.

She is survived by her children: Fannie Whitaker (Curtis Blevins), James Taylor Whitaker (Amy Moore), and Jerry Wynn all of Evarts, Lisa (Rodney) Hooker of London, KY, and Martha (Joey) Compton of Corbin and Ruth Tolliver of Evarts; sister, Margaret Jean Holman of Virginia; brother in law, Joe Fultz of Michigan; brother James Farmer (Jenny) Roark of West Virginia.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 5 to 8PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2PM with Brother James Nichols officiating with special music by granddaughter, Chelsea Nipper Nichols and Pauline Patterson. Burial will be at Evarts Memorial Gardens with Jamie Wynn, John Wynn, Devan Nipper, Jeff Hooker, Timothy Garlic, Danny Lunsford, and Jr. Whitaker serving as pallbearers.
