Juanita "Pete" Jones

Juanita “Pete” Lowe Jones passed away June 5, 2017 in Lakeway Regional Hospital in Morristown, TN after suffering a heart attack two days earlier. Juanita was 101 years old and was born on May 31, 1916 to the late Wesley and Pearl Fraley Lowe. Juanita and Claude Jones were part owners of Modern Electric and Furniture Company of Harlan and Cumberland where she was an accountant for years. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Cumberland several years and was appointed Grand Ester in the 1970’s. She is also a member of Prospect Point Baptist Church in Bean Station, TN.
Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her loving Husband of 49 years, Claude Jones; Sisters, Ruby Cornett, Lola Gibson and Estelle Morris; Son in law, Bill Warfield.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Lana Warfield of Bean Station, TN; Grandchildren, Brad Warfield of Bean Station, TN and Kim Warfield of Florence, KY; Great Grandchild, Tristan Warfield of Bean Station, TN; She also leaves behind special nieces, Sandy Pappes, Judy Varney and Kathy Wallace, all from Columbus, OH; Nephew, Duane Cornett of Chula Vista, CA and many Relatives and Friends.
Visitation will be Friday June 9, 2017 from 12PM till 2PM. Rites will be performed by the Order of the Eastern Star at 2PM. No Funeral Services will be held. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery without a Graveside service.
