Lavonda Faye Coots, 47 of Loyall, KY went to her heavenly home on August 19, 2021 at UK Hospital. She was a member of The Church of God of The Free People her whole life. She was born on February 12, 1974 to the late Simon Sr. and Sharon Jones.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents Rev. Ora and Bertha Jones, Clayborn Edward Jones and Naomi Ruth Howard Jones Smith. Her two sisters Naomi Ruth Jones and Keturah Diane Murray.
She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years Marcus Coots, She is also survived by her Sisters, Tana Dillman and husband Noble, Aquila Jones, Rolanda Smith and husband Lee, Jessica Black and husband Billy; Brothers, Simon Jones Jr and wife Judy, James Jones and wife Kim, Samuel Jones and wife Missy, Jonathan Jones and wife Nicki, along with a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, friends, and family.
Visitation will begin Saturday August 21, 2021 at 4 PM at The Church of God of The Free People until the Funeral hour on Monday August 23, 2021 at 2 PM with Vonny Jones and Allen Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Harlan Memorial Gardens on lay hill with Brothers of the church serving as pallbearers.
