Lawrence Henry Williams

Lawrence Henry Williams, age 60, of Dayhoit, KY passed away May 13, 2014 in Holston Valley Wellmont Medical Center, Kingsport, TN. He was born August 22, 1953 in Harlan Co., KY to the late Fred and Ruby Webb Williams. He was a retired mechanic, employed by R & F Trucking. He was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sherrell Pauline Brummett Williams and brother, Charles Williams.

Left to mourn his passing are his children: Anthony Williams of Loyall, KY, Sherrell Lynn Watson of Huntsville, AL, and Tracey Williams of Dayhoit, KY; grandchildren: Lawrence “Scotty” Williams, Samuel Chase Watson, Miranda Lynn Watson, Grace Pauline Watson, and Braydan Henry Watson; brothers: Jerry (Brenda) Williams of Dayhoit, Terry (Sheila) Williams of Harlan, and Tom (Cheryl Thompson) Williams of Dayhoit; sisters: Freda (Steve) Saylor, Mary Middleton, and Winnifred Williams all of Dayhoit and Charletta (Todd) Chappell of Hyden, KY along with a host of special nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 4 to 9PM at the Riverside Baptist Church, Dayhoit, KY. Funeral will take place Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11AM also at the Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Heck officiating. Interment will be at the Whitestar Cemetery, Dayhoit, KY with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
