Michael Poppy Stidham

Michael “Poppy” Stidham, age 62, of Lenarue, Kentucky passed away September 7, 2018. He was born July 1, 1956 in Leslie County. He loved his family, fishing and hunting.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents Hobert and Gracie Hoskins Stidham and brothers Richard Stidham, Jim Stidham and a sister Nell Stidham.
He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 43 years JoAnn, his children: Shawnessy Stidham, Nichole Bays and husband Sherman, Michelle Stidham, Dee Roark and husband Barry, Heather Fields and husband CJ. Grandchildren: Angela Hall and husband Jay, Leighanna Hampton and husband Christopher, Tyler Roark, Sara Roark, Skylar Thornbury, Mikey Bargo, Sebastian Thornbury, Shastyn Bargo, Isabella Thornbury, Zander Stidham, Harmony Stidham, Great Grandchildren: Lani Hall, William Gauge Hall, Hayden Connor Hampton, sisters Lola Turner and husband Enos of Wooten, Sue Combs of Cawood. His best friend of 35 years Larry “Bill” Smith, a special nurse Tammy of the third floor, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on Tuesday September 11, 2018 from 12 to 2 PM with the funeral service also in the chapel at 2 PM with Christopher Hampton and Henry Hammons officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY. Honorary Pallbearers will be Barry Roark, Jay Hall, Mikey Bargo, Sebastian Thornbury, CJ Fields, Tyler Roark, Ronnie Thornbury, Anthony “Spot” Griffith.
