Mona Cowan, age 73 of Gulston, passed away peacefully on Friday April 19, 2019 at the Continue Care Hospital in Corbin, KY. She was born on June 1, 1945 to the late Dave and Dora Bargo.
Mona is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don Hensley and two daughters Laura Cowan and Christina Cowan.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons: John Cowan of Gulston, Joe Cowan and wife Joyce of Grays Knob, Sam Cowan and wife Caroline of Pansy, Brothers: Sam Bargo and Dave Bargo, a sister Patricia Bargo, Grandchildren: Connor, Casey, Shelby and Sam Cowan Jr., a Great Grandchild Emberlynn Cowan and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on Tuesday April 23, 2019 from 12-1:30 PM with Graveside service at 2 PM at Resthaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
