Myrtle Mitchell Middleton

Myrtle Mitchell Middleton of Glasgow, Kentucky, formerly of Baxter, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital with family by her side. She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky, January 14, 1921. Myrtle was a homemaker, wife, loving mother, grandmother and sister, she was a person who enjoyed life who had a great inner strength, dedication to family and strong conviction. She believed in the Seventh Day Adventist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; Adrian and Mary Ellen Sergent Mitchell; husband, John Henry Middleton; six brothers, Hubert, Homer, Hayes, Burness, Adrian Jr., and James Mitchell; and one sister, Stella Byrd Mitchell Ball.
