Park Yeager Sr

Mr. Park Yeager Sr. age 83, passed away August 23, 2021 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born October 29, 1937 to the late Charles and Helena Yeager. He was in the United States Marine Core for 21 years as a E-5 Staff Sergent, He worked on the Martins Fork Dam with the Army Corp of Engineers, he was a coal miner, a carpenter and also an electrician.
Park is preceded in death by his Father Charles Wesley Yeager, Mother Helena Dorothy Sterling, daughter Dorothy Nannett Yeager, sister Carol Colbert and brother in law Tom Colbert .
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Park Yeager Jr and wife Flora of Georgia, Charlene Yeager of Rosspoint, , grandchildren; Batrina Yeager, Donovan Yeager, Tiffany Yeager, great grandchildren; Hannah Maggard and CJ Maggard, special friend Mike Williams.
Visitation will be Wednesday August 25, 2021 in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM with Funeral Service beginning at 7 Pm with Reverend Buddy Simpson officiating. Graveside service will be Thursday at 11 AM at Resthaven Cemetery with Military honors provided by the Harlan County Honor Guard.
