Paul Edward Carroll, age 86, of Harlan, KY passed away on May 27, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
Born on June 18, 1935 to the late Tyde Carroll and Mattie Farmer Carroll, Paul was a retired mine foreman. He loved old country music, especially Johnny Cash and enjoyed playing guitar and fishing.
Besides his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his Wife, Lydia Carroll; Mother of his children, Agnes Carroll; Son, Bascom (Biscuit) Carroll; Step-son, David Carmack; Great-great grandson, Alex Carroll; Sisters and Brothers-in-law Mable and Bass Sage and Florence and Bill Hunt.
Left to mourn his passing are his Children, Ramsey and Joyce Carroll, Liz and Reggie Bach, Michelle and Randy Cole, Diane Lewis, Jill and Harry Southard, Vickie and Billy Joe Sanderson and George and Heather Carmack; Sister and Brother-in-law, Henrietta (Bootsie) and Paul Phipps. Many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 1 PM until 3 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3 PM also in the Chapel with Reverend Jeff Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at the Tway cemetery with Grandsons serving as pallbearers.
