Pauline Farler Brown was born on August 1, 1939 to the late Lawrence and Constance Farler. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 11, 2017. She was the wife of the late Jack Brown having been married for 52 years. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Farler, Odell Farler, James Farler, Johnney Farler, and Jim Farler.
On September 14, 2008 Pauline was born again as a child of God at the Hazel Green Holiness Church and was baptized on October 10, 2008. She later attended the Cornerstone Community Church in Harlan, KY until she was no longer able. Pauline loved her children and grand-children dearly and loved having them around her. She always made holidays special for her family, making sure to prepare the favorite dishes of each child or grand-child. She loved seeing her family happy.
Among other places of employment, Pauline worked at Golden Corral in London, KY for a number of years. She was always a hard worker and took great pride in everything she did. She was an avid quilter making numerous beautiful quilts sewing every stitch by hand. She also enjoyed raising a vegetable garden and canning the wonderful harvest for her family to enjoy during the colder months of the year. She kept her house, yard and flower gardens in pristine condition.
She is survived by her Sons Eddie Brown and wife Debra of Harlan, KY, Gregory Brown of Corbin, KY and Michael Adam Brown and wife Rebecca of London, KY. Grand-children, Steven Brown of Corbin, KY and Melissa Bell of Winston Salem, NC. Great-grandchildren Eli Bell, Matthew Bell, Luke Bell, Michael Brown, Nathan Brown, Brooklyn Brown, Jaxon Brown and Aurora Brown. Her brothers Felix Farler and wife Eva, Corbett Farler and wife Janice, Larry Farler, and douglas Farler and wife Lizzie. Her Sisters Dorothy Crawford and Linda Sanchez.
Visitation will be Friday January 13, 2017 in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral Services will follow immediately thereafter at 7:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Mills officiating. There will be no graveside service. Interment will be at the DL Creech Cemetery in Cumberland, KY.
