Richard Lee Huff

Richard Lee Huff, age 71, of Bledsoe, KY, passed away December 3, 2015 at the Corbin Baptist Regional Hospital following a long illness. He was born July 4, 1944 at Pine Mountain, KY to the late James Walter and Elizabeth Napier Huff. He was a retired butcher and belonged to the F&AM Baxter Masonic Lodge 806.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Huff, and sisters, Pauline Merrill and Martha Middleton.

Survivors include children, Tommy (Karen) Huff of Irvin, CA, Tammy (David) Scalf of Middlesboro, KY, and Sharon Huff of Barbourville, KY, grandchildren, Brandon Richard Tate of London, Jennifer Elise Nichols of Corbin, Brandi Danielle (James) of Barbourville, KY, Courtney Nicole Huff of Barbourville, and great granddaughter, Kyra Isabelle Justice and great grandson, James Canaan Marshall Ballard, brother, William "Bill" Lloyd Huff of Bledsoe, sisters, Sarah Jane Shell of Evarts, Goldie Middleton of Bledsoe, Etta Boggs of Cumberland, Tressie Boggs of Bledsoe, Nancy (Dexter) Belcher of Somerset, KY,Dorothy (Bill) Ward of Oak Hill, WV, and very special friend, Hester Caldwell, of Rosspoint, KY.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 6 from 6 to 8PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home and Monday, December 7 from 11am to 1pm at the Pine Mountain Church of God. Funeral will follow at 1pm also at the Pine Mountain Church of God with Kermit Creech and Clarence Adams officiating. Burial will be at the Huff Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
