Richard Stewart

Richard Stewart, age 84, of Cawood, KY, went home to his heavenly resting place at Harlan ARH on April 11, 2019 following a long illness. Richard was born April 15, 1934 to the late John and Jona Stewart.
Richard was preceded in death by his loving Wife Wanda; Daughter, Alice Phillips of Cawood; Four Brothers, Marion, Elvin, Cawood and Noble; One Sister, Thelma Lucas
Richard was the Pastor of Pace Chapel at Smith, KY for 14 years.
Mr. Stewart is survived by two sons, Alben and Wife Ima of Harlan and Richard Lynn and Wife Helen of Cawood; Five Daughters, Rita Swanson and Husband Frank of Gulston, Caroline Grubbs of Cawood, Elisa Miracle and Husband Kelly of Tazewell, Tenn., Tina Brock and Husband Rocky of Cumberland Gap, Tenn., Mary Ann Noe and Husband Edmond of Cawood; One Sister, Lorene Hill and Husband Ken of Cawood; Thirteen Grandchildren, April Ackerman and Husband Tim, Wanda Geran and husband Ryan, Winston Stewart, Franklin Swanson and Wife Jennifer, Jason Swanson and Wife Miranda, James Grubbs and Wife Crystal, Lisa Grubbs, Joe Farmer and Wife Tiria, Dustin Farmer and Wife Sasha, Meghan Brock, Kimber Campbell and Husband Casper, Dalissa Noe, Josh Stewart and Companion Vanessa. Twenty-One Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandson. A Host of Family Members, Friends and his Pace Chapel Church Family also mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 5PM to 9PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, April 15, 2019 at 1PM also in the Chapel with Rev. Jeff Mills and Spencer Burkhart officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Family Cemetery on Little Creek in Cawood, KY. Grandsons and Drew Brewer will serve as pallbearers.
