Sarah Jane Dean

Sarah Jane Dean, age 86, of Harlan, KY passed away May 18, 2014 at the Harlan ARH. She was born Sept. 7, 1927 in Harlan, KY to the late Hiram and Effie Mae Ledford. She was a homemaker and believed in the Christian faith.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Daniel Dean, daughters, Shelby Jean Cole and Lora Bennett; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Left to mourn her passing are her daughters: Elisa Rhymer, Harrogate, TN, Geneva Harris, Duluth, GA, Beverly James, Union City, TN, Diana Brown, Putney, KY, Peggy Huff, Fourmile, KY, and Julie Dean, Harlan, KY; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 10AM to 12PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will immediately follow at 12PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Johnny Hill officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery, Keith, KY with Mark Sloan, Walt Brown, Lonnie Huff, Rodney Cole, Brandon Pennington, Lonnie J. Huff and Daniel Huff serving as pallbearers.
