Sharon Lynn Jones, age 69 of Fresh Meadows, KY passed away Tuesday November 21, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. She was born to the late Clayborn Edward Jones and Naomi Ruth Jones Smith. Sharon was a member of The Church of God of the Free People.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father Clayborn Edward Jones, her mother Naomi Ruth Jones Smith, her husband Reverend Simon Jones Sr., Daughter Naomi Ruth Jones and brother James Edward Jones.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters Tana Dillman and Husband Noble of Harlan and Aquila Jones of Fresh Meadows, Keturah Murray and husband Larry of Loyall, Lavonda Coots and husband Mark of Loyall, Rolanda Smith and Husband Lee of Hazard, Jessica Jones of Fresh Meadows; Sons, Simon Jones Jr. and wife Judy of Fresh Meadows, James Jones and wife Kim of Harlan, Samuel Jones and wife Missy of Lenarue, Jonathan Jones and wife Nicki of Tremont. Grandchildren Kyle Dillman, CJ Jones and wife Alicia, William Ball, Kristen Parker and husband Kyle, Myra White and husband Ryan, Keaton Dillman, Dalton Jones, Samantha Jones, Madelyn Jones, Riley Jones, little Jon Jones, Hannah Jones and Ariel Smith. Great Grandchildren Madison Dillman, Alana Jones, Aiden Jones, Kylee Parker, Karson Parker, lacey Skidmore and Samantha Gholson; Sisters, Burma Kelly and the late Clayton Kelly of Baxter, Diane and Husband Al Ros of Alabama, Monica and Husband Johnny Bryant of Elcomb; Brother, Terry Jones and wife Sherry of Georgetown. Host of Nieces, Nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 22, 2017 at the Church of God of the Free People starting at 6 pm until the funeral hour. Funeral Service will be Saturday November 25, 2017 at 2 PM with Vonny Jones and Allen Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Harlan County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Stevie Jones, Wendell Jones, Tony Cooper, Pete Fee Jason Napier, Vonny Jones Jr., Clayton Kelly Jr., Billy Ball Ryan White and Kyle Parker.
