Sharon Fay Philpot, age 60, of Coalgood, passed away July 28, 2017 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital after a long illness. She was born July 19, 1957 to the late Leslie and Marie Combs. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Clarence Philpot, children; Herbert Brown, Brian Brown, Kimberly Brown, Jody Renee Philpot, Andrea Dean, Brothers: Eddie Combs, Donald Combs and Eugene Combs, 18 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday July 31, 2017 from 4 to 6 pm in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Tuesday August 1, 2017 at 2pm with the Reverend Joe Howard officiating.
