Shelby Haley Mills

Shelby Haley Mills, 77, of Corbin passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Corbin Nursing Home. She was born September 7, 1937 in Cawood, KY. She graduated from Harlan High School in 1956.

Shelby was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Hazel Haley, her husband, Obie Mills, a brother, Elmo Haley, and two nieces.

She is survived by her daughters; Judy Mills Garrett and husband, Ken, of Corbin, KY; Joy Mills Fee and husband, Sidney, of Corbin, KY. She has four grandchildren: Cristie Garrett Johnson and husband, Barry, of Corbin, KY; William Garrett and wife, Jamie, of Lakeland, GA; Sidney Wayne Fee, Jr. and wife, Jolene, of Berea, KY; Jessica Fee McCowan and husband, Shane, of London, KY. Also, eight great-grandchildren: Jacob and Colby Johnson; Marcus, Blake, and Jase Garrett; Haley and Dylan McCowan and Jocelyn Fee. Two brothers: Charles Haley and wife, Francis, of Harlan, KY; Robert Haley and wife, Leota, of McKenzie, TN. Also, several nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home in Harlan, KY. A graveside burial service will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Harlan, KY. Visitation will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home from 6-9pm, June 12, 2015. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
