Stella Lawson

Stella Lawson, age 85, of Cranks, KY passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. She was born July 14, 1930 in Harlan, KY to the late David and Nannie Hall.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Kurt Hall and Conrad Hall and Sister Vinnie Smedley.
Left to mourn her passing are her children; Edna (Woodrow) Asher of Redbird, KY and Eugene Farmer of Cranks, KY. Grandchildren, Austin (Jessica) Farmer of Corbin, KY, Johnny (Cheryl) Skidmore of Cranks, KY, Jamie (Woody) Smith of Putney, KY, Mark Skidmore of Richmond, KY and Stella Skidmore of Texas. Great grandchildren, Darek Skidmore, Gary Skidmore and Rhegan Skidmore all of Cranks, KY, Emily Smith and Jordyn Smith of Putney, KY, Jessica Rose, Jerrica Skidmore and Lora Gilbert all of Richmond, KY. Great grandchildren; JJ Skidmore and Timmy Skidmore of Texas.
Visitation for Ms. Lawson will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in the Chapel of the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home from 10AM until 1PM with funeral to follow immediately after at 1PM with the Reverend John Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Thacker Family Cemetery in Cranks, KY.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
