Teddy Gene Thompson Sr., 55, of Harlan passed away peacefully from this life on July 23rd, 2019. Teddy believed in the Baptist faith and attended Ages Baptist Church.
Teddy Sr. was born December 3, 1963 in Harlan to the late Clarence and Margie (Miller) Thompson. Aside from his parents Teddy is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Alvin and Lucy (Rutherford) Miller and paternal grandparents John and Jane Thompson, brother John Thompson and a sister Billie Jean Thompson.
Teddy is survived by his wife of 15 years Kimberly (Swanner) Thompson of Harlan. His daughters Lucy and Angela Thompson both of Greeneville, TN and Stephanie Rowe of Clay County. His sons Teddy (Kristen) Thompson Jr., Arthur (Christy) Couch of Greeneville, TN and Justin (Natasha Dean) Rowe of Harlan. His grandchildren Jessie, Nick, Hayden, Hunter, RJ, Cameron, Jaeda, Allie, Kennedy, Aubree-Jack, Harper, Parker, Ridge and a great granddaughter Everleigh. His brothers Danny (Martha) Thompson of Bledsoe, Lloyd (Carol) Thompson of Harlan, Clarence Tommy (Mary) Thompson of TN and David (Norma) Thompson of Harlan. Sisters Geneva Williams and Flora Thompson both of Harlan and Juanita Mckenzie of Georgetown. Also surviving a niece Alisha Wilson of Harlan and a host of many other loving nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on Saturday July 27, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service will follow at 8 PM with James Burkhart officiating.
