Verna Bailey, 76 of Wallins, passed away with her family by her side on March 25, 2021. She was born to the late Doc and Anna Hensley Thomas on February 21, 1945.
Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her Parents; Son, Brian Brock and several brothers and sisters.
Verna is survived by her loving Husband, Winston Bailey; Children, Shannon Shelton and Husband Ricky, Phyllis Jackson, Adith Jackson, Christina Lamb and Earl Jackson and partner James Richardson; 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 2PM to 5PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday March 29, 2021 at 12PM also in the Chapel with Buddy Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with Friends and Family serving as pallbearers.
Due to the mandate set forth by the governor of Kentucky, attendees must wear a mask at all times, practice social distancing and only 60% of our capacity is allowed.
