Wesley Skidmore

Wesley Skidmore, 51, of Cawood, KY passed away September 8, 2015 at Holston Valley Hospital, Kingsport, TN after a short illness. He was born August 3, 1964 at Cranks, KY to Eulalah Skidmore and the late Marvin “Monk” Skidmore. He was a coal miner and believed in the Baptist faith.
Besides his mother, Eulalah, he is survived by children, Amber Skidmore (David Creech) of Bledsoe, KY, Andrea Skidmore (Justin Graves) of Pineville, KY, and Aaron Wesley Skidmore of Pineville, KY, siblings, Cathy and Kyle Spurlock of Cranks, KY, Vilene and Jeff Dean of Virginia and Scott and Lesley Skidmore of Cranks, KY, grandchildren, Landon Creech, Maliki Graves, Chandler Graves and Isabella Skidmore, niece, Brandi Harrell, nephews, Gary Garrett and Brian Skidmore, mother of his children, Teresa (Skidmore) Douglas of Pineville, KY, special uncle and aunt, David (Buck) and Missy Caldwell, special friends, Bill and Debra Robbins, Kenneth Noe and Milton Noe of Cawood, KY and many other friends and family.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 12 from 1 to 3 at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Saturday, September 12 at 3pm in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Tommy Helton and Franklin Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at the Browning Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
