William Clay "Junebug" Williams Jr.

William Clay “Junebug” Williams, age 56, of Dayhoit, KY passed away February 5, 2015 at his home following a long illness. He was born February 13, 1958 in Harlan, KY to the late William Clay Williams, Sr. and Margaret Ann Williams of Dayhoit, KY. He was a member of the Poorfork Church of Christ.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cathy Marie Williams of Dayhoit, children: Julie Marie Williams, Kelly Renee Williams, and Kambi Williams all of Dayhoit and Shane (Donna) Williams of Loyall; brother, Michael (Suzie) Williams of Coldiron, sisters, Clayetta (Mike) Perkins of Fresh Meadows, Gail (Roger) Thompson of Baxter, and Nannie (Lonzo) Arthur of Dayhoit. 7 grandchildren and a host of family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 7 from 5 to 7PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 7PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with James Forrester officiating. Burial will be Sunday, February 8 at 2Pm at the Williams Family Cemetery, Papaw’s Mountain, Dayhoit, KY with nephews and cousins serving as pallbearers.
