Mr. Albert Fillippinie

Mr. Albert Fillippinie, age 94, of Gulston, KY, passed away on August 11, 2022, at his residence with his family by his side. Mr. Fillippinie was born on June 29, 1928, to the late Leangelo Fillippinie and Myrtle Bray; brothers Arthur Fillippinie and Bobby Fillippinie, and sister, Clara Brassfield. Mr. Fillippinie was a mechanic, loved fishing and traveling, and was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Left to mourn the passing of Mr. Fillippinie are his wife, Julie Fillippinie, with whom he was married for 59 years. Sons, David McCall; daughter, Regina Fillippinie; sister, Ruby Quinn; grandchildren Brandon, Nicholas, and Shantel Fillippinie; six great-grandchildren, Krista Foley, Jaxon Fillippinie, Clayton Fillippinie, Alexis Slone, Joseph Foley, and Klaira Fillippinie. A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends also survive.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, starting at 11 AM. The Harlan County Honor Guard will provide military honors.
