Alford Daniels

Alford Daniels, age 91, of Mount Clemens, Michigan passed away August 30th, 2026, at the Henry Ford Warren Hospital. He was born February 15th, 1935, in Evarts, Kentucky to Bascum Daniels and Alberta Cloud-Daniels whom both precede him in death.

Also preceding him in death is his wife, Pheby Daniels.

He is survived by his son, Joshua Daniels; four daughters, Eddie Griffen, Pamela Daniels, Ada Edens, and Rachel Daniels; a special grandson whom he raised, Austin Daniels; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

Alford was a hard worker who provided for his family, a born-again Christian who believed in the Pentecostal faith, known to be a jokester who very much told the truth, loved building birdhouses in his free time and was married to his wife, Pheby, for 66 years.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at 1:00pm at the Vine Daniels Cemetery, close to Martins Fork, Kentucky, for a graveside service followed by the burial with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
