Audrey Jewell Bond

July 30, 1931 — October 7, 2023

Audrey  Bond, a beloved homemaker, passed away on October 7, 2023, in Pineville, KY. She was born Audrey Jewell Short on July 30, 1931, in Harlan, KY. Audrey will be remembered for her kind and caring nature and her favorite hobbies and interests.

Audrey lived a simple yet fulfilling life. She found joy in the little things, such as enjoying peanut butter milkshakes and frying salmon patties and potatoes. Audrey had a passion for travel and often embarked on trips with her daughter Sandy to Nashville. However, she always made said she wouldn't put a pleasure trip before the Lord.

One of Audrey's great loves was music. She loved to sing and played the omnichord in church. Her melodic voice uplifted those around her and added a touch of beauty to every worship service. Audrey also cherished spending time on the telephone, connecting with her loved ones near and far. Her conversations were filled with love and genuine care for those she held dear.

Audrey's friendly nature extended beyond phone calls; she would readily break green beans while engaging in heartfelt conversations with family and friends. This nurturing quality was further reflected in her personality as she would always say, "I'll be praying for you." Her genuine concern for others touched the hearts of many.

In addition to her passions and character strengths, Audrey had a deep love for Elvis Presley. His music brought her happiness and serenity throughout the years. These cherished moments became treasured memories that brightened her days.

Audrey's greatest source of joy was found within her family. She poured her love into raising her daughter Sandy and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their presence filled Audrey's heart with immeasurable happiness.

Audrey Bond is survived by her loving daughter, Sandy Fields; her grandson, Hiram Fields; her granddaughter, Shannon Fields; and her great-grandchildren Jon Ryan Carmical, Noah Barrett, Ely Fields, and Maddy Fields. A vast network of family and friends holds fond memories of Audrey close to their hearts.
