Benjamin Clark, a beloved and cherished individual, passed away on December 14, 2023. Born on February 23, 1940, he lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a spirit of kindness that touched the hearts of all who knew him. 

Throughout his years, Benjamin displayed a warm and vibrant personality that made him an absolute joy to be around. He had a deep passion for UK basketball and reveled in the excitement of every game. Benjamin also enjoyed playing checkers, engaging in friendly competition with friends and family. Moreover, he took great pride in caring for his yard, which brought him immense happiness.

One of Benjamin's most cherished roles was being a devoted and loving daddy. He showered his children with affection and embraced the opportunity to create lifelong memories together. Additionally, Benjamin had a delightful sense of humor and would often play jokes on those around him; his infectious laughter could light up any room.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his adoring parents, Horace and Bessie Clark; his beloved wife, Eva Lou Clark; his dear brother, Charles Clark; as well as sisters Retha Clark, Silvia Helton, Betty Holt, Janice Johnson, and Hazel Dorton. These loved ones welcomed him with open arms as he embarked on his final journey.

Among those mourning Benjamin's loss are his surviving family members who were deeply touched by his unwavering love. His sons Robert Clark and Benjamin Clark Jr. (Debbie); daughters, Glenna Clark (Jeff Farmer), Linda Caldwell and Jennifer Willis (Freddie) hold cherished memories of their father—memories that will forever remain deeply etched in their hearts. 


In addition to his children, Benjamin leaves behind his sister, Mary Perry, residing in Florida. Thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Benjamin's kind heart extended beyond his immediate family and touched the lives of many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. His infectious laughter and jovial spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we come together to celebrate the remarkable life of Benjamin Clark, let us hold dear the memories he gifted us throughout his time on Earth. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering love, playful nature, and dedication to those he held dear.
