Charles David Lewis, a kind and gentle soul, passed away on June 27, 2024, at Tri-Cities Nursing Home in Cumberland, Kentucky. He was born on August 25, 1947, in Harlan, Kentucky. Charles was known for his love of reading the Bible, his gentle spirit, and his enjoyment of playing Corn Hole. His generosity extended to supporting charities in Israel and the Easter Seals.
He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Myrtle Lewis. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Charles David Lewis will be held on July 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Cemetery in Baxter, Kentucky, with Pastor BJ Williamson officiating.
In loving memory of Charles David Lewis, may his gentle soul rest in peace as his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
