Clyde Daniels

Clyde Daniels, age 79, of Smith, Ky, passed away August 13, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 13, 1947, to his parents Hamp and Cleo Daniels.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Napier Daniels, his son Clyde Daniels Jr., and his brother Hershel Daniels.

He is survived by his daughter, Jackie Miniard and husband Joe of Smith, Ky; Four grandchildren, Kristy Smith and husband Marshall, Tiffany Miniard, Clyde Tyler Daniels and fiancée Keona Morales, Jordan Philpot and husband Steven all of Smith, Ky.; Two great granddaughters, Rowyn and Zoie Ogan of Smith, Ky; Two sisters, Beulah Daniels, and Loraine Slee of Smith, Ky; one brother, Freeman Daniels and wife Liz of Smith, Ky; two sisters-in-law, Gail Daniels of Loyall, Ky, and Sally Jones and husband Tommy of Pathfork, Ky; one aunt, Evelyn Hoskins of Cubbage, Ky; a special friend, Sue Brown of Pathfork, Ky; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A special thank you to Hospice of the Bluegrass and your team. His nurse Alli, you were so good to Clyde. Amber, thank you for your care. His nurseaids Regina, Bridget, and Natasha for your kindness and love for Clyde. Your care and concern for Clyde will never be forgotten.

Graveside services will be on Saturday August 15, 2026 at 2:00pm at Hensley Cemetery in Smith, Ky with Rev. Spencer Burkhart officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
